GOTS certified yarns, organic wool, mulesing-free wool

On soul-wool.com you will find probably the largest selection of sustainable wool and yarns for knitting and crocheting. We currently have 15 GOTS certified yarns, i.e. real organic wool, in our range. Our FAQs provide more information about what the GOTS seal includes. This includes, for example, animal-friendly husbandry, so GOTS wool is always mulesing-free wool. Particularly popular GOTS certified yarns include the Semilla GOTS and the Bio Balance GOTS from BC Garn.

Recycled Wool & Fair Trade Wool

In our opinion, sustainable wool is also recycled wool, because recycling in particular conserves resources and avoids pollutants. We currently have 8 recycled yarns in our range, including Reborn Wool and Karma Cotton from Kremke Soul Wool. Fair Trade wool, such as the hand-dyed yarns from Cowgirl Blues or Manos del Uruguay, also fall into the sustainable wool category for us.

The fact that we – with the exception of recycled yarns – focus entirely on natural yarns and natural wool in our range is particularly pleasing for knitters who do not like to work with synthetic fibres. Those looking for vegan wool will also find what they are looking for with us on this topic.
