The yarn consists of 72% RMS-certified mohair (CU 890756). Products certified according to the Responsible Mohair Standard (RMS) contain mohair fibers from farms that are independently certified according to animal welfare and land management requirements.

Of course, our Kremke Soul Wool in-house brand wouldn't be complete without a silky mohair yarn – and here it is: Silky Kid RMS, made from 72% mohair and 28% silk (mulberry silk), at an attractive price. At 28 microns, the mohair belongs to the kid mohair class; only superkid is softer!

RMS stands for Responsible Mohair Standard and guarantees not only absolute traceability throughout the entire supply chain, but above all that the animals are kept in a species-appropriate manner and gently sheared.

The yarn is made for us in South Africa and is truly wonderful! The colors were carefully selected to match the shades of standard yarns. This makes it an excellent choice for use as a companion yarn.

Our KREMKE brand now has a new logo. However, for sustainability reasons, we will continue to use our existing stock of old labels. Therefore, some color variations of this yarn already have the new label, while others still have the old one.
