Mercerization is a process that refines high-quality cotton, giving it a beautiful sheen and making it more shape-retaining. Lace and openwork patterns also come into their own here!
The cotton comes from the USA, by the way, and is spun and dyed in Serbia. The dyes are free of animal ingredients, making this yarn suitable for vegans.
