BC Garn Alba is our most popular cotton yarn, and rightly so. Knitting with cotton is totally on trend: knitting a summer sweater from soft cotton that is also GOTS certified, it doesn't get any better than that! The many beautiful colors are well coordinated and invite combination. The cotton is not mercerized and thus as natural as possible. Therefore, the colors have a fine and subtle sheen. BC Alba is also ideal for knitting baby clothes! As organic cotton, it is a true baby yarn. Since not only the raw material but also the dyes used are free of animal ingredients, it is a completely vegan yarn. Please note: with stockinette stitch, the knitted fabric can warp a bit. It is better to knit a textured pattern with BC Alba. The cotton used is grown in Turkey without the use of fertilizers or pesticides and harvested by hand.
