The yarn lives up to its name: The Kashmir region is located in the Himalayas at an altitude of 1700m. It is therefore pleasantly mild in summer, sometimes even quite cool.

Our Summer in Kashmir offers the perfect blend: wonderfully soft cotton refined with 10% cashmere makes this GOTS-certified eco-yarn a popular companion for the whole year, for all climates, for indoors and outdoors, for young and old. The small proportion of cashmere gives the yarn a delicate fluff that can be seen when holding the yarn up to the light, but the yarn is not "fluffy-hairy" overall, so it is also very suitable for baby clothes, especially since it is machine washable. But of course, even big sensitive people will enjoy this all-season yarn.

Due to the cashmere content, the spinning mill recommends hand washing to protect the noble fiber, and this is also stated on the yarn band. However, our machine test at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle was very satisfactory, which is why we can recommend it without hesitation.

The cotton used comes from GOTS-certified cotton fields in Turkey and is also spun and dyed there. The cashmere comes from Mongolia.
