Cozy in Ruffles Pillow by Helena Wieser

A striped pillow cover that never gets boring thanks to the ruffles all around. It is knitted seamlessly and in the round. First, a tube is knitted over the cover, preparing the zipper opening. The tube is closed at the top and bottom, and stitches are picked up from all sides. From these, the double-knitted ruffles are worked. Finally, a 35 cm zipper is sewn into the prepared opening on the back.

Materials:

Merry Merino 70
(100% virgin wool, LL = 70 m/50 g)

For the pillow cover with blue-black stripes:
200 g Ink Blue (color 25) and 200 g Black (color 31).

For the pillow cover with pink-orange stripes:
200 g Lilac (color 22) and 200 g Pumpkin (color 08).

Also:
2 long pieces of scrap yarn, 4 stitch markers,
1 matching 35 cm zipper per cushion,
Circular knitting needle No. 6.5, 1 knitting needle No. 6.5
and 1 crochet hook No. 6
