The Björk scarf is a lightweight shawl, ideal for everyday wear. It is knitted in simple stockinette stitch rows with I-cord edges and features a gentle color gradient created by knitting with two strands and gradually changing the shades. The clear construction and rhythmic knitting style make it a relaxing project, and the finished shawl is versatile and suitable for any season.
Finished Measurements: 28 cm / 11 inches wide and 200 cm / 78.75 inches long.
Gauge: 21 stitches x 25 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm / 4” x 4” in stockinette stitch, after blocking, with 4.5 mm (US 7) knitting needles and double-stranded yarn.
Needles: 4.5 mm (US 7) straight needles or the needle size needed to achieve gauge.
Yarn: Kremke Kid Cotton (25 g = 210 m), held double throughout.
