Poppy by Sandnes Garn is a soft, light, and airy yarn. Using a special technique, alpaca and virgin wool fibers are blown into a fine cotton tube. This manufacturing process creates a much higher air density between the individual fibers compared to spun yarns, making the yarn exceptionally light and warm. The cotton tube also makes the yarn strong and tear-resistant.

The natural blend of alpaca, cotton, and wool creates a wonderfully fluffy yarn suitable for year-round use. Poppy's unique feature is its color: the splashes of color on a natural or white base create a captivating, dynamic knit pattern.

With a composition of 50% alpaca, 35% cotton, and 15% wool, Poppy is ideal for knitting sweaters and cardigans. And because it's so soft, the yarn is also suitable for baby and children's clothing.
