It's not as soft as, for example, merino wool, but rather something for connoisseurs and lovers of Norwegian flair and Norwegian wool. Did you know that the perception of itchiness largely depends on the outside temperature? The colder it is outside, the warmer a yarn with a fiber that isn't as smooth as merino will keep us. This is because more air can be trapped between the fibers for warmth. Due to its texture and stability, it produces a very clear stitch definition and is excellent for multi-colored knitting.
