Our Karma Cotton, a recycled cotton, gives new life to cotton textiles such as remnants and offcuts from textile factories. It is beautifully soft and produces a remarkably even, smooth knit.
Karma Cotton is a pre-consumer product, meaning it's made from yarn or fabric scraps that haven't yet been used to make garments. Just like with our other yarns, the recycled PET bottle content gives the yarn excellent stability and makes it soft and even. The color is achieved solely through the thorough pre-sorting of the textiles.
Since the fibers are greatly shredded during the preparation of the raw material, a supporting additional material is needed for stabilization, which in this case also comes from recycling, namely from PET bottles.
