Color
For genuine tweed wool, differently colored fibers are carded together and then spun. This creates the vibrant color depth of true tweed. Rowan Felted Tweed Aran is the chunky version of the best-selling Rowan Felted Tweed. Here, 50% wool is spun with 25% alpaca and 25% viscose to create a wonderfully thick, yet surprisingly lightweight yarn. Alpaca wool, due to its unique structure, provides excellent insulation. It warms when it's cold and cools when it's warm. Its texture and stability result in a very clear stitch definition and make it ideal for multi-colored knitting.
