And here comes the thicker version of our cozy sock yarn with a noticeable alpaca content: 10 percent may not seem like much, but it really makes all the difference! The spinning mill suggested five different material combinations to me. Why did I ultimately choose this version with alpaca? Because it offers the best of both worlds: the durability and machine-washability of true sock yarn and the necessary softness to happily wear garments and accessories made from it. At this point, I wish we had touchscreens. Until then: Just take the plunge and try it for yourself!

The raw wool comes from South America and is guaranteed mulesing-free. Our Edelweiss yarn is spun in Italy.

For a pair of socks up to size 40/41, at least 150g (3 balls) are needed.

Der Shop bietet eine sehr große Produktauswahl mit unterschiedlichen Marken und vielfältigen Wollqualitäten. Die Auswahl ist gut strukturiert und abwechslungsreich.

Die Empfehlung für Kuschelsocken

Habe traumhaft weiche Socken daraus gestrickt und werde demnächst auch ein anderes Projekt damit starten … zu schade um nur Socken daraus zu stricken!

Tolles Garn

Nur für Socken eigentlich zu schade!

Es ist eine wundervoll weiche Wolle, die ich ohne Probleme auch halsnah trage. Das war bestimmt nicht das letzte Kleidungsstück, welches ich aus dieser Wolle stricken werde. Ich liebe sie.

Wunderbare Wolle

Ich stricke mir gerade das zweite Paar Socken aus der Edelweiß 6fach. Die Wolle verstrickt sich wunderbar, die Muster kommen ganz fantastisch zur Geltung und die Wolle kratzt überhaupt nicht, ist soo weich und hat eine zarte Wärme. Ich bin begeistert!

Loopschal warm und weich

Jetzt habe ich noch zwei Armstulpen und einen Loopschal aus der Edelweiß Sockenwolle 6fädiger gestrickt. Verstrickt sich super. Meine Entwürfe haben in diversen Facebook Gruppen und auf Instagram großen Zuspruch erfahren. Die Anleitungen kann man bei mir kaufen. Ich bin total verliebt in diese Wolle. Werde bald wieder bestellen für neue Ideen … Fotos schicke ich extra.
