Sandnes Garn Atlas is a voluminous quality yarn made from 70% Norwegian lamb's wool and 30% fine merino wool. This combination unites the natural durability of Nordic wool with the soft, pleasant feel of merino – ideal for durable knitwear with high wearing comfort.

The yarn impresses with its warmth, lightness, and a particularly beautiful stitch definition. Despite its rather compact yardage, Atlas has impressive volume and is excellently suited for sweaters, cardigans, hats, or other cozy winter projects. The structure of the Norwegian wool provides dimensional stability and character, while the merino wool adds extra softness.

Sustainably Produced with Responsibility

The Norwegian lamb's wool used comes from mulesing-free farms and is processed regionally, which reduces transport distances. The merino wool from Argentina is also mulesing-free.

Sandnes Garn relies on transparent supply chains and resource-efficient production: the animals live on natural pastures, without deforestation. Primarily hydropower is used for production, and the water used is thoroughly cleaned after the production process.
