Needles: Double-pointed needles or 60 cm circular needles (Magic Loop) in 2.25 mm and 2.75 mm.
Gauge (stockinette stitch, washed and blocked): 16.5 sts = 5 cm on the smaller needles and 16 sts = 5 cm on the larger needles.
