Sandnes Garn Alpakka is a reliable, slightly thicker alpaca wool that's a must-have in any yarn collection. Alpaca wool is incredibly versatile and suitable for all kinds of projects. Knit scarves, headbands, sweaters, or blankets. Please note: pure alpaca wool tends to stretch after washing! Therefore, wash your gauge swatch before measuring and factor in potential stretch for larger garments. Due to its unique structure, alpaca wool provides excellent insulation.
