Our Karma Cotton, a recycled cotton, gives new life to cotton textiles, such as remnants and offcuts from textile factories. It is beautifully soft and produces an amazingly even, smooth knit.
Karma Cotton is a "pre-consumer" product, meaning it is made from yarn or fabric scraps that have not yet been made into clothing. Just like with the other yarns, the proportion of recycled PET bottles gives the yarn good stability and makes it soft and even. The coloring is achieved solely by carefully pre-sorting the textiles.
Since the fibers are heavily shredded during the preparation of the raw material, a supportive additive material is required for stabilization, which in this case also comes from recycling, namely from PET bottles.
