Here comes the finer version of British Blue, the typical British virgin wool from Bluefaced Leicester sheep. The sheep of this breed produce a wonderful long-staple (as experts call long fibres), fine, slightly shiny wool. The sheen is created because the hairs are not very crimped, but rather lie parallel next to each other, so that light is gently reflected. The yarn has a natural softness and the long fibres ensure that pilling is a foreign word with this yarn.
The raw wool for our British Blue naturally comes from Great Britain, and it is spun and dyed in our favourite spinning mill in Turkey.
