These hand-dyed versions of Warmi reflect the diversity of flora in the Andes. In Quechua, the language of the Andean people, Warmi means woman or unity, and that's precisely what this yarn embodies: Here, our two favorite fibers merge – baby alpaca (21-23 microns) with fine merino wool (21.5 microns). This unique, luxurious blend from Amano has a very special, finely textured look and creates a beautifully crisp stitch definition. At the same time, Warmi is also wonderfully woolly and durable enough for larger knitting projects like favorite sweaters and cardigans.
The yarn is sourced, dyed, and spun in Peru.
