Did you know that the perception of itchiness largely depends on the outside temperature? The colder it is outside, the warmer a yarn with a fiber that isn't as smooth as merino will be. This is because more air can be trapped between the fibers for warmth. Due to its texture and stability, it produces a very clear stitch definition and is excellent for multi-colored knitting.
