This new booklet is a collaboration with designer Norah Long (@foxandfolk) and brings together six patterns that showcase her love for nature, folklore and timeless knitwear.

The collection includes the Alyssum hat and scarf, the Rosemary cardigan, the Rosemary shawl and matching gloves, as well as the Salix socks – all designed with Norah's signature botanical details and knitted from our GOTS-certified yarns Bio Shetland, Semilla Pura and Semilla Melange.

Inspired by her cottage garden and the landscapes surrounding her home, these designs combine rustic textures, subtle braids and floral motifs to create pieces that are classic, wearable and deeply connected to nature.

Alyssum Cap

• Yarn: Organic Shetland

• Colors:
09-Olive: 1 strand
7-sludge: 1 strand
1-Off-white: 1 skein

• Inspiration & Description:
The Alyssum hat is inspired by the fragrant sea aster, whose small flowers attract bees in spring and add a splash of color to bouquets. It is knitted from the ribbing upwards, using the Estonian Roositud technique to create the leaf and flower motifs. Simple decreases form the top.

Alyssum Scarf

• Yarn: Organic Shetland wool, double-stranded

• Dimensions:
Width: 127 cm

• Colors:
09-Olive: 1 strand
7-Mud: 2 strands
1-Off-white: 1 skein

• Inspiration & Description:
Like its sister pattern, the Alyssum Cap, the Alyssum Kerchief is also inspired by the plant it's named after. The idea for this piece comes from hand-embroidered handkerchiefs, and the floral motifs are created using the Estonian inlay technique ("roositud"). The construction is sideways, with the pattern positioned precisely in the center of the scarf.

Rosemary Cardigan & Vest

• Yarn: Semilla Pura

• Sizes:
Chest circumference, sizes 1-13
74 cm - 165 cm

• Colors:
04 Beige-grey melange
Strands: x3(x3, x3, x4, x4)
{x4, x4, x5, x5}(x5, x6, x6, x6)

• Inspiration & Description:
The inspiration comes from my herb garden: the needle-like rosemary leaves are reflected in the cabled edge and the details. The cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down – starting at the upper back, then continuing over the picked-up stitches for the front panels to the hem. The sleeves are picked up later and worked in the round. The facing is created directly, without any additional picking up of stitches.

Rosemary Shawl

• Yarn: Semilla Melange

• Dimensions:
Depth: 36 cm
Width: 180 cm

• Colors:
SM18 pine
Strands: x5

• Inspiration & Description:
Like the Rosemary Cardigan and Rosemary Gloves, this pattern was inspired by the shape of the leaves and stems of the herb. The elegant cables and simple structure combine to create an ideal basic piece for the colder months. The project begins in the center and is worked towards the points. Once the first half of the shawl is complete, stitches for the second half are picked up from the center and knitted to the opposite point.

Rosemary Gloves

• Yarn: Semilla Melange

• Colors:
SM18 pine
Strands: x1

• Inspiration & Description:
I love matching accessory sets, and the Rosemary Gloves are the perfect complement to the shawl. The style is classic and cozy, with cables and a textured pattern. The gloves are knitted from the bottom up, starting at the wrist and working towards the fingers. The thumb is created using a thumb gusset.

Salix Socks

• Yarn: Organic Shetland

• Sizes:
Foot circumference
- Kids L/Teen 16.5 cm - 18 cm
- Adults S 17.5 cm - 20 cm
- Adults M 20.5 cm - 23 cm

foot length
- Kids L/Teen 18 cm - 20 cm
- Adults S 20 cm - 24 cm
- Adults M 23 cm - 25.5 cm
- Adults L 25.5 cm - 30 cm

• Colors:
04-Straw
Strands: x1, x1, x2, x2

• Inspiration & Description:
Two weeping willows stand at the edge of our garden, where it borders the forest. Their long, drooping branches sweep across the ground. The Salix Socks are a tribute to their unique foliage. They are knitted from the cuff down and have a cap heel. A side cable adorns the leg just below the cuff, and two willow branch motifs run along the sides of the socks – created through cables and slipped stitches.
