Rowan Kid Classic combines wonderfully fluffy kid mohair (the second-best grade of mohair, surpassed only by superkid) and fine lambswool with a small percentage of synthetic fibers for even greater lightness. The result is a top-quality chunky yarn: light and fluffy, yet incredibly shape-retaining! Kid Classic isn't as cuddly soft as merino wool. But did you know that the perception of itchiness largely depends on the outside temperature? The colder it is outside, the warmer a yarn with a less smooth fiber than merino will be. This is because more air can be trapped between the fibers for warmth. Its texture and stability create a very clear stitch definition and make it ideal for multi-colored knitting.
