Cowgirlblues' Fluffy Mohair Blend is like the chunky sister of their fine Kidsilk! Perfect for those who prefer a slightly thicker yarn but don't want to miss out on the fluffiness of mohair. This yarn is extremely economical. You only need 200g for a short sweater knitted with 6mm needles. Fluffy Mohair should be worked very loosely to allow it to develop its full softness.
The colors can vary and differ significantly even between skeins/strands with the same lot number. To illustrate this variation, we have placed three skeins side by side for the variation photos (the selling price refers to one skein). We recommend working with the old and new skeins alternately, row by row/round by round, shortly before switching to a new one.
The mohair comes from South Africa and is lovingly and expertly hand-dyed there. The variegated, or heathered, colors are composed of the same base colors as the solids, resulting in exciting and harmonious shades. They combine beautifully with the solids, the one-color versions.
