For genuine tweed wool, differently colored fibers are carded together and then spun. This creates the vibrant color depth of true tweed. Rowan Felted Tweed is Rowan's most popular yarn, spun from 50% wool with 25% alpaca and 25% viscose to create a wonderfully airy, light, yet strong and warm yarn. Alpaca wool, due to its unique structure, provides excellent insulation. It keeps you warm when it's cold and cool when it's warm. Its texture and stability result in a very clear stitch definition and make it ideal for multi-colored knitting.
