Yarn: Kremke Edelweiss Alpaca 4-ply (65% virgin wool, 25% polyamide, 10% alpaca).

Colours:

• 3 balls of colour 19 (dark orange)
  Remnant/small amount of colour 44 (cactus)

or

• Kremke Edelweiss Classic 4-ply Non-Superwash
  (100 g = 420 m) 75% virgin wool, 25% polyester (recycled PET bottles)
  - 1 ball of colour 408 (warm orange)

Needles: A set of double-pointed needles or a long circular needle in size 2.5 mm (or to match the gauge).

Gauge: For 4-ply sock yarn: 30 stitches and 40 rows = 10 x 10 cm
