Silky Kid undyed

Of course, our own brand Kremke Soul Wool cannot do without a silky mohair yarn - and here it is: Silky Kid made from 72% kid mohair and 28% silk (mulberry silk). Mohair is ideal for dyeing as the goats are naturally white. The fibers take on color very well and shine beautifully despite being fluffy!

At 28 microns, our mohair belongs to the "Kid Mohair" class; only Super Kid is softer. The classification in detail:

Up to 27 microns: Super Kid (usually young animals up to 6 months, first shearing)
27-30 microns: Kid
30-34 microns: Young Goat
34 and above: Adult Mohair

The yarn is made from 72% RMS-certified mohair (CU 890756). Products certified according to the Responsible Mohair Standard (RMS) contain mohair fibers from farms that are independently certified according to animal welfare standards.
