Pattern Tea Time Socks

These pretty colourwork socks are inspired by traditional blue and white porcelain cups with their simple yet elegant pattern. However, these socks would certainly look beautiful in any other colour combination as well! You can give your creativity free rein!

Sizes:
For sizes S (M) L, you cast on 48 (52) 60 stitches, which corresponds to a calf circum- ference of approx. 24 (27) 29.5 cm / 9.5 (10.75) 11.5”. If the pattern mentions only one number, it applies to all three sizes.

Needles:
3.5 mm (US 4) DPNs (set of 5) or size needed to obtain correct gauge (The pattern is written for DPNs, but of course it is possible to work with Magic Loop, for example.)

Gauge: 25 sts x 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4”, in stranded colourwork, measured after blocking It is crucial to obtain the correct gauge as the knitted fabric of the socks is not very stretchy due to the stranded colourwork. Therefore, it is important to choose the correct size for you right from the start.

Kremke Soul Wool Edelweiss Alpaca 6-ply (125 m (137 yd) / 50 g)

Main colour: 100 (100) 150 g
Contrast colour: 50 (50) 50 g
