Sandnes Garn Borsted Alpakka is wonderfully fluffy brushed up alpaca for thick cuddly sweaters, cozy dresses and shawls in which you want to live. The alpaca fibers are mounted on a thin nylon thread, needed for stability. However, you don't really notice the nylon when knitting and wearing it, I promise! Alpaca insulates very well because of its special structure. So it warms when it's cold and cools when it's warm. Numerous Sandnes Garn patterns can be found in the wonderful Sandnes Garn booklets.

Extrem leichtes, sehr warmes Garn

Habe das Garn doppelfädig verstrickt, zu einem dicken Kinderpullover. Er sieht wunderschön aus, ist kuschelig warm und dabei sehr leicht. Eine wirklich tolle Wolle!

Das fertige Produkt (Babydecke) ist wunderschön.

Es ist nicht so einfach zu stricken, da eben kein glattes Garn.
Vielleicht habe ich das auch so empfunden, weil ich meistens lace stricke. Aber mein Ziel, eine leichte, aber sehr warme Babydecke zu stricken, wurde 110%ig erreicht - sehr voluminös, leicht, sehr warm und mit wunderschöner Struktur.
