Melilot is a summer shirt designed by von Hélène Taboury worked seamlessly from the top
down with a modified ribbing pattern including tuck stitches on the front and back and an all-over 3x3 ribbing pattern on the sides and the sleeves.

3.75 mm / US 5 dpns or a circular needles with cable suitable for small circumference knitting for the sleeves AND circular needles with a cable length of at least 80 cm / 30” for the body (it is possible to use the magic loop technique).
2.75 mm / US 2 dpns or a circular needles with cable suitable for small circumference knitting for the cuffs AND circular needles with a cable length of at least 80 cm / 30” for the body (it is possible to use the magic loop technique).
• Gauge: 20 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” in the round, in chart A, on larger needles, after blocking
• Notions: Blocking tools, darning needle, stitch markers, tape measure
The back and front are worked in rows until the armhole shaping is completed, the shoulders are shaped with short rows. The pieces are then joined and the body is worked in the round. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armholes and worked in the round with 3x3 ribbing and a panel of the main pattern.
