Apu is a gift from the Inca Gods and means "The spirit of the mountain" in Quechua. Its softness at 17 micron is found only through sorting by hand and uncovering the softest alpaca in existence.

To harvest high quality, fine fibers, sheering of the alpacas has to be carried out with utmost care, so purchasing high quality alpaca wool is always a contribution to animal welfare. So knitting with this ultra soft yarn is not only pure joy but also good for your karma!

Taking the Andes Mountain Range as an inspiration, the shades show high glacial landscapes and reflections of beautiful sunset colors.

The fiber is harvested, dyed and spun in Peru.
