The Sartuul is a sheep breed with an incredibly soft undercoat and a cashmere-like feel, native to the Zavhkan province. These sheep have been herded together with other animals in Mongolia for centuries. Nomadic herders who tend the animals select the finest fibers, which are then washed and carded before being hand-spun in Nepal by skilled spinners working from home. Simply check the square label when you receive the yarn to see who spun it.
We offer this yarn in 3 different weights (2-ply - fingering, 4-ply - Aran and 8-ply - Bulky), so you can use your new favorite yarn for countless projects.
Nomadnoo's yarns are hand-dyed by qualified dyers using ZDHC dyes.
