This pretty, simple basket in a Scandinavian style is crocheted from papyrus on a wooden base.
Although papyrus is made from paper, it is water-resistant and can therefore be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Even when crocheted, the yarn retains its flexibility. And the tedious task of knotting short strands is eliminated. This is thanks to a process that produces virtually endless lengths of yarn. These decorative baskets gain additional stability from being crocheted onto a wooden base.
The set consists of 200g or 300g of papyrus, a base plate (15 or 20cm), and an instruction booklet containing additional papyrus patterns. A crochet hook is not included. The baskets come in sizes S and L.
