Smooth Sartuul Sheep Wool 2-ply light fingering handspun

The Sartuul is a sheep with a very soft undercoat and a cashmere feel that lives in Zavhkan Province. These sheep have been herded together with other animals in Mongolia for ages. Nomadic herders who look after the animals select the finest fibers, which are washed and carded before being hand-spun by skilled home spinners in Nepal. Just take a look at the square label when you receive the yarn to see who spun it.

We offer this yarn in 3 different weights (2 ply - fingering, 4 ply Aran and 8 ply bulky) so you can use your new favorite yarn for countless projects.
