"Uuuuhh, nice and soft!" my colleague exclaimed when she held the first skein of Reborn Jeans in her hands. And yes, this yarn made from recycled jeans is unusually soft and the touch resembles a mixture of bourette silk and wool. The color range is narrow and that is done on purpose: We stuck to the original colors of the jeans and didn't apply another chemical process by bleeching it and dying in different colors. The Polyester part of the yarn is made from recycled PET bottles. The raw material is sourced in India, where the yarn is spun by the same father-and-son owned company that produces Reborn Wool for us.
