The reviewer above me already noted the lively nuance of colour with a hint of green and orange on either side of the oker yellow, that is really very pretty and original compared to other "mustards" and truly gives the name "gold" it due.
It knits up great for me on 3.75 mm, both in stockinette and a lofty seed stitch (Vodka by Thea Colman); the lace motif is not lost despite a very light halo from the alpaca. Squishy and yet it seems firm enough not to drape too much or sag too much over time. It makes for a relatively heavier garment than if I had used 100% wool but therefore also feels it will do its name justice and be even warmer and is suitable for a jacket (no buttons). Amano is a great brand. Chaski is great for summer, but warmi knits up a lot faster.
