Sandnes Garn Alpakka Silke combines the wonderful luster of silk with the glorious softness of alpaca yarn. 70% baby alpaca and 30% mulberry silk make it a beautiful luxury yarn for shawl knitting, lace knitting or sweater knitting. Alpaca insulates very well because of its special structure. It warms when it is cold and cools when it is warm. The silk supports the cooling effect.
