Poppy by Sandnes Garn is a soft, light and airy wool. Using a special technique, alpaca and wool fibers are blown into a fine cotton tube. Compared to spun yarns, this manufacturing process leaves a lot of air between the fibers, making the yarn very light and warm. The cotton tube makes the yarn stable and tear-resistant.
The natural blend of alpaca, cotton and wool results in a wonderfully fluffy year-round yarn. The special thing about Poppy is the colors: The splashes of color on a natural or white base create an subtle but exciting color effect.
With a composition of 50% alpaca, 35% cotton and 15% wool, Poppy is ideal for knitting sweaters and cardigans. And because it is so soft, the yarn is also suitable for baby and children's clothing.
